We are offering appointments in person and via Telehealth. We have implemented numerous new safety protocols, in accordance with CDC guidelines for COVID-19, to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. For your safety we have transitioned to on-line patient registration and contactless patient check-in. We look forward to helping you in any way possible.

Audiologists

Professional Hearing Consultants is affiliated with an experienced group of physicians who are experts in the medical and surgical treatment of hearing disorders. Each physician is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. Our clinical audiologists are health care specialists who identify, assess, and manage disorders of the auditory, balance, and other neural systems. Our audiologists are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Eileen Bridges

Eileen Bridges, M.A., CCC-A

Eileen Bridges received her bachelor's Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University. She received her master's degree in Audiology from Michigan State University. Her Clinical Fellowship year was completed at Associates in Otolaryngology in Southfield and Farmington Hills, Michigan. She worked as a clinical supervisor at Michigan State University and served as an adjunct faculty member for several years. Her interests include diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting and tinnitus treatment. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Ms. Bridges has worked with patients of all ages. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in training the next generation of audiologists by serving as a clinical supervisor for audiology graduate students.

Katelyn Hook

Katelyn Hook, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Hook graduated from Michigan State University with her Bachelor of Arts in 2016.  She then received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Western Michigan University in 2020.  Prior to receiving her doctorate degree, she completed her clinical externship at Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose & Throat.  She is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Hook’s clinical interests include diagnostic/vestibular testing as well as hearing aid technology.

Benjamin Jarvi

Benjamin Jarvi, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Jarvi graduated from Michigan State University with his Bachelor of Arts in 2010. In 2014, he received his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Central Michigan University. He was a clinical Extern at Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose, and Throat prior to being hired on as full-time member of their audiology team. Dr. Jarvi’s interests include hearing aid technology, vestibular assessment, electrophysiology testing and tinnitus management.

Rebecca Stewart

Rebecca Stewart, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Stewart graduated from Butler University in 2014 with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from Indiana University in 2017. Dr. Stewart joined Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose & Throat as a full-time audiologist in 2020. She has clinical expertise in tinnitus management, adult and pediatric diagnostic testing, and hearing aid technology.

Lisa Theodorovich

Lisa Theodorovich, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Theodorovich received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Western Michigan University in June 2014. She began working at Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose, and Throat in 2013. She is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the State of Michigan. Dr. Theodorovich’s interests include vestibular and electrophysiology testing as well as hearing aid technology.

Kristen Umphlett

Kristen Umphlett, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Umphlett graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts. She then received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of Illinois in 2012. At Central Michigan University’s Carls Center, she completed her clinical externship and then was a clinical supervisor. After taking time off to start a family, Dr. Umphlett began working part-time at Mid-Michigan ENT in June 2013. Her clinical interests include tinnitus management through the use of hearing aids and diagnostic testing with children and adults.

Kristin VanParys

Kristin VanParys, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. VanParys graduated from Central Michigan University in 2015 with her Bachelor of Science. She continued her education and received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from Central Michigan University in May 2019. She was a clinical extern at Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose, and Throat prior to being hired on as full-time member of their audiology team. Dr. VanParys' interests include diagnostic testing with adults and children, hearing aid technology and vestibular testing.

Rachel Ehnis

Rachel Ehnis, Au.D.

Dr. Ehnis graduated from Michigan State University with her Bachelor of Arts in 2016. She then received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Western Michigan University in 2021. Prior to receiving her doctorate degree, she completed her clinical externship at Mid-Michigan Ear, Nose & Throat. She is a accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Ehnis' clinical interests include diagnostic testing, hearing aid technology, and hearing conservation.
